This Privacy Policy explains how Korfeo (the “App”) handles information when you use it. Korfeo is a metronome and music-practice companion developed by malkokai, Italy.
Summary
Korfeo does not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal data. It has no accounts, analytics, advertising, purchases, or server-backed features.
The App stores only its settings on your device so it can remember them between sessions.

2. Information Stored on Your Device
Korfeo uses local device storage to retain:
- your selected app language and appearance;
- onboarding completion status; and
- metronome settings, including tempo, time signature, subdivision, beat accents, and selected sound.
This information remains on your device. It is not sent to malkokai or to third parties.
You can remove this information by clearing Korfeo’s app storage in your device settings or by uninstalling the App.
3. Information We Do Not Collect
Korfeo does not collect personal information such as your name, email address, contacts, location, photos, microphone recordings, payment information, advertising identifiers, or usage analytics.
The App does not require you to create an account and does not use cookies, advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or tracking technologies.
4. App Stores and Support Email
If you download Korfeo through an app store, the store operator (for example, Google Play) may process information related to your account or download under its own privacy policy. malkokai does not receive your payment or account credentials from the App.
If you contact us by email, we process the email address, message content, and any information you choose to include solely to respond to your request.
5. Legal Basis, Retention, and Security
Where the GDPR applies, local processing is necessary to provide the App’s requested functionality (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Support emails are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Local settings are retained until you clear the App’s storage or uninstall it. Support emails are retained only for as long as needed to handle the request or meet legal obligations.
Because settings stay on your device, you are responsible for securing your device and backups.
6. Your Rights
If applicable law grants you privacy rights, you may contact us to request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, or withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent.

7. Children’s Privacy
Korfeo is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy if Korfeo’s features or legal obligations change. The current version and its “Last updated” date will always appear on this page.
